Robert D. Clayton

Robert D. Clayton, 79, passed away January 7, 2024 in Sparks, NV.

He was born in Hollister, CA, the son of Robert and Dorothea (Mott) Clayton.

He met Gertrude Secatero in San Francisco, CA. They celebrated 56 years of marriage in

 November. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, 

Johnny L. Clayton, Charles “Chuck” Clayton and Allen Clayton; and a granddaughter

Mercedes Mattox. Surviving in addition to his wife, Gertrude (Secatero) Clayton of Sparks;

and his daughters, Tammy Clayton of Gardnerville; Kimberly (Clayton) Lemay and her

 husband Craig of Reno; sons Robert Clayton and his wife Diane of Dayton; Christopher 

Clayton of Reno. Grandchildren, Kiri Clayton, Brittany Oskouie, Josie Burnett, Lisa Clayton, 

Madison Lemay, Seth Lemay, Tyler Clayton, Michael Clayton, Wyatt Jones, Lillian Clayton.

Great grandchildren, Julian McCarran, Emberly Burnett, Killian Burnett, Freya Burnett.

One brother David Clayton of Stockton CA; three sisters Ann Wilderson and her husband

 Carl of Creswell OR; Nona Browning and her husband Robert of Southwest City, MO; 

Carol Kirkpatrick and her husband Arthur of Hollister, CA; Donna Stevens and her husband

 Jimmy of Hollister, CA; Veronica Thurman of Bentonville, AR; 

many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, 

February 10 at his home in Sparks, NV.
