Elsie Jane Nuhn,

To everyone who has known and Loved Elsie Jane Nuhn, we have some sad new to share today. Jane has crossed the threshold from life on earth to an eternal heavenly life with Jesus Christ.

Jane was born on December 15, 1943 to Elsie May Estle and John Henry Seffker. Jane passed away on December 15th, 2023. on her 80th birthday, surrounded by family. After a very sudden decline in her health, God called her home. 

Jane devoted her entire life to caring for children. She was very passionate about keeping kids safe and giving them a home away from home. She started in childcare with her foster parents, Betty Lee and Rudy Lehto, where they started and operated "Betty's Child Care" for 8 years before moving to Reno, Nevada, where she started "precious Days Child Care" with her daughter Tammy for another 20 years before retiring in 2019 at the age of 75.

She leaves behind four children : Laura Dawn, married to Steve Stadfeld with 3 children-Kyrie, Steven, and Gregory; Tamara Ann, married to David Tener with 3 children-David, Matthew and Daniel; Susan Marie, married to Thomas Nasser with 3 children-Madelyn, Kathryn, and Thomas; Daniel Owen, married to Sheri and has 1 child-Vanessa. She also leaves behind a brother, Kerry Seffker.

Jane Nuhn was a good wife to Gerald Owen Nuhn, an adored foster child, a sister, a great mom, grandmother, teacher and a wonderful woman full of talent. We were blessed to have been able to celebrate her 80th birthday with her prior to her heavenly ascent. She left us to continue her celebration, receiving the very best gift of all, the love and new life with God through Jesus Christ. Happy Birthday, Mom! Here's to You!!! You will be missed greatly!
