Donna Lee Caldwell Davis

Our dearest Donna passed away in October 2021 peacefully at home with her daughter Elizabeth.

Donna was born in Salina, KS on November 18,1932 to Mary Elizabeth and John Caldwell.

Donna graduated from high school at the age of 17 and went off to University to study medicine.

Donna was very dedicated to her family and career.

Donna and Will ultimately settled in Chico, California to raise their family.

Donna helped pioneer hospice in the early stages. She studied in London and Cal Berkeley.

Donna was voted women of the year twice. She was love by anyone who crossed her path.

Donna moved to Reno, NV and went into psychiatry. She was voted women of the year in Reno also.

If Donna wasn’t working she was busy with her children on horse, snow skiing, water skiing and then some.. Donna is survived by her son Geoffrey Davis, her daughter Elizabeth, grandson Erik Rosenbaum, Mark Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband Willis Gene Davis. Again she was dedicated to him for 57 years.

A service will be held at:

The Trinity Episcopal Cathedral

200 Island Ave Reno, NV 89505

Sat Dec 4, 2021 at 1pm

 There will be a celebration of life following the service at The Shore Club located in the Renaissance One Lake St. Reno. Donations to hospice or the mentally ill would be wonderful.

Enloe in Chico is a great one to think about. I’m sure all hospice would be grateful. Please come join us! Donna will be there watching everyone, just from above.

Mask and vaccination are required at the church only. I’m looking forward to seeing you all. in the Renaissance One Lake street.
