Connie Marie (Cook) Bromby of Graeagle, California passed away on July 20th, 2023 at the age of 70, in Reno, Nevada. Connie was born on April 22nd, 1953 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Elven and Loretta (Morehouse) Cook.
Connie graduated from Hawthorne High School in Hawthorne, California where she met her sweetheart and husband Gary H. Bromby. They would spend fifty four years by each others side. Connie and Gary worked as a team during numerous adventures including managing campgrounds, RV parks and condo complexes from Monterey County Parks to Mammoth Lakes, CA. Connie was selfless and always giving to others which brought her much joy. Connie enjoyed dancing in her younger years and remained especially creative throughout her life; she was an artist/painter, an accomplished seamstress/tailor (owning a specialty tailoring business in San Luis Obispo, CA), a brilliant quilter (having made hundreds of beautiful handmade quilts) and an amazing cook. Family and friends alike always looked forward to Connie's delectable dishes. She loved her friends and family and spoiled them whenever she had the chance.
Connie is survived by her husband, Gary Bromby, her children, Holly Bromby and Cory (Jennifer) Bromby, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, and her siblings Linda (Tom) Brockmiller, and Jim (Jacquie) Cook.
Connie was a beautiful person who spread joy wherever she went. In keeping with her wishes, no memorial service will be held.
